Daniel Blaauw built his career overseas but staying away from one of the most welcoming and beautiful cities was clearly never going to last. A return home turned out to be an exciting new adventure and just the beginning of a new chapter. His parents had already started a BnB tucked away in Marine estate but together they saw an opportunity of an upgrade and bought a run down old house in Axminster Road just across from the beach.
Together they lovingly restored and renovated this 60 year old gem bringing together their various skills in engineering and the arts, Just a short time spent reading their online reviews and you know they take great care to welcome and take care of every visitor. They have managed to create an eco-centric guesthouse with a home away from home warmth.
“Surfing, exploring, entertaining or simply sharing a few anecdotes over an African braai, this entrepreneurial surfer has created an environment worth witnessing first hand, Thank you ‘The Muize’, I had a whale of a time.“
