Jeremy's musical career began in his small, home town of Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe, where his passion for guitar catapulted him into a gigging rock band, touring his country from the age of 14. After completing his A-levels in Harare, he moved to Cape Town, where he obtained a BMus Honours in Jazz Performance.
Well established as a guitarist and vocalist, Jeremy has shared the stage with Sibongile Khumalo, Judith Sephuma, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Ard Matthew, Hugh Masekela, Loyiso Bala, Freshly Ground, Mango Groove, Lira and Johnny Clegg. He has also performed with great international artists, such as George Benson, Katherine Jenkins, Jonathan Butler, Daniel Bedingfield and Oliver Mtukudzi. He has performed all over South Africa, as well as Germany, Switzerland, Holland and Dubai. In June 2015, he was nominated for a Wawela Award for Best Male Artist and Composer for his debut album alongside Elivs Blue and Mandoza. In January 2016 Jeremy made it to the finals of the talent show The Voice SA.

Australian saxophonist, Jeremy Rose, will perform music from his two upcoming 2017 album releases - Within and Without (feat. Kurt Rosenwinkel), and The Vampires meet Lionel Loueke, as well as music from his previous albums. Jeremy’s saxophone playing and compositions draw on a diverse set of influences, from contemporary jazz, world music, to reggae and Afrobeat. His playing pays homage to the traditions of jazz whilst forging a voice that is recognisably his own. Rose will be accompanied by three South African jazz heavyweights, namely Andrew Ford (piano), SAMA Award and Standard Bank Artist of the year-winning Shane Cooper (double bass) and Kevin Gibson (drums).
