I hope that 2014 has begun well and that the year ahead will be a happy and successful year for you and all yours.
This past week, at long last, the books were delivered to me, and I am thrilled to say, in the end they have turned out beautifully – 246 pages of text on the finest milk white Bond paper, and 48 pages of illustrations on top quality matt finish photographic paper.
For those in Muizenberg, you will be able to pick up your copy from Gerald at Rustenburg Pharmacy towards the end of the week. (Rustenburg Pharmacy 021 7888028)
However we are encountering difficulties finalising arrangements for overseas sales. The only reasonable option is with the SA Post Office, which would be from Post Office to Post Office, by registered packet post @ under R200.
The Jewish Museum, Gardens, Cape Town will carry the book at both their shops in the Jewish Museum and next door at Cafe Riteve! Isn’t that exciting!
I would appreciate it very much if you pass on this email to all the friends on your personal mailing list – the internet has a way of making the world smaller. Many people have good memories of Muizenberg and might enjoy reading the Story of the Shtetl by the Sea.
Thank you to my webmaster, Kavin Naidoo, who has helped me complete this phase of my self-publishing adventure.
With thanks to everyone who made the writing of this book possible – I hope that it will give great pleasure to all who read it!
